Description
Julia looked down from her bubble and saw all of her friends in paradise. It was a normal day in paradise. Except ... she wasn't there with them. Everyone gathered in the center and talked with one another. Suddenly, Devon looked up, directly at Julia. Her eyes widened.
'H-how can they see me?' she thought, 'They were supposed to forget about me ...'
Hydreigon, who was also with Julia, turned around behind them and smiled.
"Julia, look! It's so beautiful!"
She turned and saw what he was telling her about.
The scene was beautiful. Though Julia was leaving the Pokemon world forever, only to return to the Human world, leaving all of her friends, she couldn't help but smile at the beautiful scene before her. Her and Hydreigon could see very clearly the Rainbows of Hope. They looked so beautiful. The spirit of Hydreigon slowly turned to Julia with a very sad expression. Tears formed in the corner of his eyes.
"This is as far as I can go, Julia ..." he said sadly. "And there are no words for how grateful I am towards you. You saved the world, and I am eternally grateful. And now, before I leave, I was told to give you this."
Hydreigon placed a small blue object in front of Julia inside the glowing light. Julia blinked down at the item. It was a frism.
"A ... frism? But why?" Julia asked confused.
"It belonged to Devon ..." Hydreigon replied. "He told me if there ever came a day when you were to leave our world, I was to give you this."
"This is ... Devon's frism ...?" Julia asked sadly.
"I must go now, Julia ..." he closed his eyes and seemed to yell. "Please have a good life!! And good-bye!!"
Julia ascended further and further away, leaving Hydreigon in a weeping mess beneath her. Julia noticed that the frism was white on this inside. A message had been recorded. She held it in her hands, and it felt bone chilling. She rubbed it in between her hands, and it began to produce sounds. She sat it back down and listened.
"Julia? It's Devon, can you hear me? So I guess if you're hearing this then ... I guess it's time for you to leave us ..."
Julia looked down sadly.
"Hydreigon told us, if you were to leave, then our memories would be wiped clean of you, but ..."
Julia looked at the frism before her. 'But ..?' she thought.
"But we won't forget you! You've done so much for everyone here! You're our best friend and we won't forget you!"
"Julia, can you hear me?" Virizion called out. "It's thanks to you I found Keldeo ... and it's thanks to you I stopped being so cold hearted. I had to thank you for that. You're a good friend, and I won't ever forget you!"
"You think that we would forget you!?" Gurdurr yelled through the frism. "You're the one who encouraged me to become a carpenter again! It's thanks to you that I'm where I am now! No way I'd forget you, kid!"
"Julia!" Emolga and Dunsparce cried simultaneously.
"Julia, you saved Dunsparce for me and let us join Alt. Gamers. That was a very big moment for both of us. No way we'd forget you!"
"You helped me better myself and become a better person. Thank you, so so much, Julia. I'll never, ever forget you ..." Dunsparce choked out.
"And there's no way we'd forget you. You brought Espeon and I back together. Helped us with our research and became a really good friend. Thank you so much, Julia."
Julia looked at the frism sadly, "Everyone ..." she said quietly.
"Y'see? No one could ever forget you. We never will! So even after you leave our world. And our memories of you fade away, we'll never, ever forget you or what you've done. And Alt. Gamers aren't the only ones. Everyone in Post Town will remember you."
"Devon ..."
"So it's thanks to you that our paradise became a thing ... and I thank you so very much. Even if we can't see each other anymore ... I'll still be thinking about you every day. Even if we have to defy fate, we'll never forget you! Good-bye Julia! Have a really nice life!!"
Julia cupped her hands over her mouth and started crying.
"Devon ... everyone ... my friends ..." she sobbed. "You never forgot me ... you went as far as to defy your destiny in order to remember me. So when they looked at me ... their eyes fixed on me ... they remembered me ..."
"But even now, as my existence here ends, I couldn't keep my promise ... I'm so sorry ..."
She buried her head into her knees and started sobbing. The frism turned blue and the recording stopped. It was time for Julia to leave the Pokemon world. Leave all of her new friends. Leave behind Paradise and Post Town. Leave behind Devon.
The light got stronger and suddenly, she and the frism vanished into thin air; the Rainbows of Hope gleaming in the distance.
Wow, this was fun to draw! xD
I really like how this came out.
Though this scene didn't really make me too sad compared to the other games,
it was still a decent ending.

I wasn't really able to build up a genuine bond with anyone in the game aside from Hydreigon, but that goodbye got me. I could not hold back my tears and actually cried so much that I had to wash my face.
