The six heroes stared in disbelief. How could Maxie and Archie get here before them? "Good job you two; we've led them straight into our trap." Daku Naito said smiling. "I had a gut feeling it'd work!" Archie said with much confidence. Maxie sighed, "Well, now I think it's time we take those orbs. Don't you six agree? Hm?" Maxie asked. Josh was holding the two orbs in his arms and violently shook his head. "I'd die before giving you the orbs!" He yelled back. Maxie sighed heavily, "So be it." He and Archie both sent out Mightyena and they charged at the six heroes. Emile then sent out his Shiny Koffing, mimicking its cry. Archie and Maxie stared at the koffing. Never before had they seen a shiny. "Impressed? You're not the only ones that have Pokémon." Emile said. Daku Naito then grumbled, "This is taking too long. Finish them off you two; I'm moving on to the next world. Don't disappoint me." Daku Naito said disappearing into thin air. Maxie and Archie then focused on the battle, making sure not to let Daku Naito down.

The Mightyena attacked Koffing with various dark type moves. Koffing then poisoned them with toxic. The Mightyena cringed because of the poison, but kept on attacking. "Ok, Koffing, get ready! USE WTF BOOM!" Emile called out. The Koffing the exploded! Emile started laughing insanily, and everyone laughed at him and the Koffing. Koffing fell to the ground, fainted. The dust from the explosion cleared, and the Mightyena were still standing! Eveyrone gasped, and the villains smiled evilly. "Ok, Mightyena, attack them, and bring us the orbs!" Archie commanded. The Mightyena lunged at the six heroes! The two girls screamed, Josh clutched onto the orbs, and Jon, Tim, and Emile looked frightened. They all expected the worst.

"Skarmory! Use Steel Wing!" A voice called out. Just then a Skarmory swooped into the fight, knocking out Archie's Mightyena. The Skarmory perched next to the fainted Pokémon looking back at the heroes. Everyone was amazed that they weren't hurt, and looked back to see Mink and Skylar running up to them. "We heard an explosion and came to see what happened!" Mink exclaimed. "You guys aren't hurt right?" Skylar asked. "We're fine." Emile thanked them. "You're all forgetting about my Mightyena. Mightyena, attack Skarmory with faint attack!" Maxie demanded. The Mightyena attacked Skarmoy, knocking it to the ground! Skylar ran over to her Pokémon, assuring it was ok. Mink then sent out a Whiscash and it swamped the Mightyena with Surf! Both Maxie and Archie's Pokémon were down, and unable to battle. The both stared angrily at the heroes and their friends. Julia then remembered something that Skylar had told them back in the cave. Daku Naito was 'torturing' Pokémon as well as Team Aqua and Magma's.!

"Maxie! Archie! Listen, you can have the orbs and we'll leave peacefully." Julia exclaimed. Both their faces lit up, and they smiled. "What are you doing, Julia!?" Emile asked angrily. "Shh!" Julia replied. "But first … I must ask you. Didn't you both stop trying to acquire these orbs a long time ago? Didn't you two think your ways were wrong? Why did you suddenly want to go back to doing this? And Daku Naito is hurting Pokémon, did you not know that?" She asked. Both Maxie and Archie looked down upon hearing that. "Yes, he is hurting Pokémon. He uses them as slaves, and he wishes to destroy this world and make a better one. We were told if we could awaken Groudon and Kyogre once more, that their clash would end this world, and he would make us rulers of the new world." Maxie explained. "But he isn't. You two need to understand, Daku Naito wants all worlds destroyed! He's not making a better, perfect one. That's why we need to put these orbs back. That's why we need everyones help. That's why we came to this world. Please, let us do what we came here for." Julia explained.

There was a silence for a few moments, then both Maxie and Archie sighed, letting the heroes and their friends through. "We thought at first we'd be able to trust that Daku Naito guy. But if what you say is true, then we have no argument with you. Please, do what you must to save the world. All worlds …" Archie said. "Thank you …" Julia said, sighing in relief. The group walked up to the stone pedestal where the orbs would be set. Josh carefully fixed them into the indentions on the pedestal. There was a blinding light, and the orbs disappeared. "As long as Daku Naito doesn't have access to these orbs, the Pokémon world is safe." Emile explained. Everyone nodded in agreement.

The group looked at Maxie, Archie, Mink and Skylar. "Thanks to you both, we were able to convince Maxie and Archie to help us. "It was no problem! It was the Pokémon that did all the work." Skylar said blushing. "Yeah, thank them, not us. We're just the trainers!" Mink said laughing to himself. "It's the trainers who should be thanked. They trained their Pokémon so well. And I'm thankful for both of you. Thanks again." Emile replied. "We need you four to guard Mt. Pyre from Daku Naito's goons in case they come back. That's possibly how he managed to get the orbs in the first place. I'm counting on you." He asked.  Maxie, Archie, and their friends nodded. "We promise Emile." Skylar and Mink replied.

Soon the heroes were off. Leaving those four to the orbs, and heading off towards the Mt. Pyre cave.  Upon leaving the cave, everyone was eager to get back to Skyloft and see Lahabiel. They hadn't seen her in such a long time it felt. Just then Tim frowned, "Something doesn't feel right …" He said. Everyone paused, and Brittany looked to the sky and saw a wormhole. "Look!" She yelled. Everyone looked up and saw it. Out flew their Loftwings, followed by Daku Naito's goons! Everyone whistled for their Loftwings, and they hopped on. Emile and Jon stood there, readying their weapons. "What're you doing!?" Josh asked. "Josh, Tim, get the girls back to Skyloft. We'll be along shortly." Jon replied. They both nodded, and flew off into the wormhole. Leaving both Chuggaa and Jon to fight what seemed to be a very tough opponent.

"Please, drop your weapons and tell me where the orbs are, and I won't have to hurt you …" It said in an eerie and ominous voice. "Over my dead body!" Jon exclaimed. "We'll never tell you where they are!" Emile exclaimed. "So be it then …" The monster said disappearing. It was just like the ones back in the Submerged Castle, only this one was much bigger. "Where'd it go ….?" Jon asked. "I don't know, but be on the lookout …" Emile replied. There was a silence for a moment, but then Emile heard Jon yell. He turned around and saw Jon in a death grip by the monster. The goon had its smoky hands clutched around Jon's neck, squeezing it. "Run … Emile … I'll be fine …" Jon managed to say. Emile, shook his head, running towards the monster with the Master Sword in his grip. He sliced at the monster, making it let go of Jon, and it disappeared. Jon fell to the ground, and lay there coughing in pain. Emile went over, handing him his freeze rod. "You okay Jon?" He asked helping his friend up. "I'm … fine … where'd it go …?" He asked. "I don't-." Emile was then cut off by Fi's voice, "Master Emile, listen. This monster is a coward, as soon as you attack, it'll disappear. However, its attacks are insta-kill, so be cautious." She said. Jon and Emile gulped, "Insta kill …." They whispered. Jon took his Freeze Rod from Emile, and ignored the pain in his throat from the monster. "Stay on your guard, Jon. And don't die …" Emile said looking at one of his best friends with worry in his eyes. Jon nodded, and listened carefully.

Everything was quiet, and motionless. "Do you think … he's gone?" Jon asked. Emile shook his head, "I'm not sure …" He replied. Jon sighed, and turned around to see the monster right in his face. "Peekaboo." It said in a low, hellish tone. Jon stood there shaking, "E-mile …" He whispered. Emile turned, and saw the ghostly monster next to Jon. Suddenly, Jon flinched in pain, and Emile gasped as the monster grabbed him by the neck and floated skyward. "If you make one move … I snap his neck …" He said. Jon gasped, and Emile looked at them both frustrated. "YOU COWARD! GIVE JON BACK! IT'S ME YOU WANT!" Emile yelled. "Emile, just go! Help the others, please!" Jon exclaimed. "I won't leave you here to die Jon!" Emile said running towards the monster. "Hmm, having a burst of courage are we? Fine!" The monster said snapping Jon's neck, and throwing him at the ground as hard as he could. Emile suddenly stopped in his tracks, and saw his friend laying there motionless, blood pouring from his mouth, skull, and nose. He clenched his sword tighter, and he couldn't believe his best friend was just tossed around like a ragdoll. "Jon …" He mumbled. "Had enough? Tell me where the orbs are, and I won't kill you …" The monster said floating a few feet away from Emile. Emile looked angrily at the monster, "You don't do that to my best friend. I'll never tell you where the orbs are!" Emile said raising the Master Sword skyward! The sword lighted up, and he sliced the monster in half, watching it vanish into thin air.

He ran to Jon's side, and he was face first into the ground, barely breathing. Emile flipped him over, and saw blood all over his face, and his neck looked deformed from where It had been snapped. "Jon, I'm so sorry … this is all my fault … I …" Emile said holding back tears. "Dude, it's not your fault …" Jon said barely able to talk. "But … what do I tell the others …?" Emile asked. "What else … tell them ," Jon flinched at the pain in his head, "I was lost in the battle …" Jon replied. Emile looked away and nodded, and felt the way you usually do when you're about to cry. "Emile …" Jon said. Emile turned to his friend, "I know … I can be an asshole sometimes … but that's what best friends do … am I right …?" He asked. Emile nodded. "Tell Tim, I won't be there …. For the next recording of the Runaway Guys …" Jon said coughing up blood, and slowly closing his eyes. Emile sadly hugged his friend, knowing he would pass away. Suddenly, Fi came out of the Master Sword.

"Master Emile … there is a 99.9% chance that Jon will die if he doesn't get medical attention. We must return to Skyloft and hope for the best. Call your Loftwing, and let's make our way skyward." She said disappearing into the sword. Emile whistled for his Loftwing and saw it appear in the wormhole. He tried lifting up the deadweight of Jon, with his Loftwing somehow helping. Jon was on the bird, and Emile hopped on behind him. "Don't worry Jon … you're gonna be ok … I hope …" He said, flying towards Skyloft.
I just wanna say .... I started tearing up writing the last bit. That made me sad XD

I was listening to Demon by Imagine Dragons while watching the Emile and Jon fighting scene. Made me cry harder when Jon died.
